OnePlus Nord 3 update alert! Improves gaming stability, fixes 6 issues & introduces new features


OnePlus Nord 3 has received a new update for fixing many issues and introducing some quality-of-life changes. This OxygenOS 14.0.0.520 update also introduces the latest Android security patch, eliminating many system vulnerabilities.

System

  • You can now choose not to show the track when drawing the Lock screen pattern to unlock your device.
  • You can now adjust the volume in Quick Settings.
  • You can now adjust the size of a floating window by dragging its bottom and swipe up to close a mini window.
  • Improves how Home screen widgets are displayed.
  • Fixes an issue where system data takes up too much storage space.
  • Integrates the June 2024 Android security patch to enhance system security.
  • Fixes an issue where the volume slider in Quick Settings and the one triggered by pressing the physical volume button might appear at the same time.
  • Fixes an issue where you might be unable to use NFC-enabled payment.

Communication

  • Fixes an issue where the device might not vibrate for phone calls.
  • Fixes an issue where phone numbers might not be displayed for call forwarding.

Games

  • Improves gaming stability.
  • Fixes an issue where the screen might turn black while playing a game.

The update is being gradually rolled out to Indian users. If you haven’t received the OTA update notification yet, you can manually check for it by navigating to Settings, selecting About Device, then OxygenOS, and finally tapping on Check for Update.

Indian users encountering issues after the update can submit bug reports through the Google Dialer by dialing *#800#.
